“Oh that smell! That wonderful smell...of my grandfather’s cooking...cooking in the kitchen. Oh my! That’s the first thing I remember as I look back. I will never forget. He was always talking to Dad about this herb & that, vegetables and freshness, and health was always at the forefront. So as the family was deciding between this profession and that, we chose the old traditions of the Italian cuisine. From North Caldwell to Andover 29 years ago, Dad ran the business from 1955 to 1995. We are now in our third generation when, 9 years ago, here on the hill, I became Sonny’s II. Thanks to heritage and teachings, I’ve learned my way of running the Italian cuisine business. We strive every day to give you, our customer, the very best. Our greatest reward is when you return and ask Mike: “What are the specials today?” Our hope for the future is that the traditions continue with the next generation with our children, Victor and James. STOP IN AND TAKE THE SONNY’S II CHALLENGE. YOU’LL TASTE THE DIFFERENCE. WE GUARANTEE IT.”

We thank you for your patronage.

“Mike tries very hard to make customers happy. The staff is fast and friendly. Become a frequent patron and see what happens… Take a food adventure and try their French toast pizza, or the pierogi pie. Want an overflowing, fresh anti-pasta salad? They've got those too. Their chef Adam constantly creates new recipes, never settling for less than perfection. Ever get their buffalo-chicken garlic knots? Great stuff. Grab a bottle of wine next door or a cold six-pack while waiting for your pie. Convenient, fresh, delicious.” -John S
